It depends on the child and the goals we set together. Many families begin with weekly sessions for 8–16 weeks, then adjust the cadence as stabilization and integration progress.
Caregiver involvement is central. We typically meet together for the first session, and I weave caregiver coaching, reflective conversation, and family touchpoints throughout treatment.
Play is the language of childhood. Within a clinically structured play space, children process experiences, rehearse new responses, and integrate parts of self that words alone can’t reach.
