Welcome

Helping individuals discover their strengths, talents, and unique significance — and the opportunity to live more satisfying lives.

Michele Yarberry is the founder and director of Liberated Living. She earned a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Adams State College.

Her practice weaves Energy Psychology, Play Therapy, EMDR, Flash Technique, Art Interventions, Experiential and other evidence-based modalities — meeting clients where they are. She works extensively with adoptive families, early and prenatal medical events, and women, children, and adolescents who have lived through trauma or distressing events.

Who I work with

A practice for the moments that ask more of you.

Two quiet places to begin — whether you are caring for a child who is struggling, or carrying a history of your own.

For parents & caregivers

You don't have to keep parenting alone.

Do you feel as though you are parenting several children in one?

Do you have an adoptive child who is struggling?

Does your child deny remembering specific events, change moods rapidly, or react disproportionately?

Does your child deny remembering specific events, change moods rapidly, or react disproportionately?

Did you experience distress or traumatic events during pregnancy?

Were there exceptional experiences during childbirth?
Did your child experience medical events in early childhood?
I work collaboratively, in partnership with parents, caregivers, and family supports. If you would like to renew hope, learn more effective skills, and see your child become more of their best self — please reach out.
For women

The next chapter can belong to you.

Do you feel stuck — as if your past is dictating your future?

Is childhood trauma or distressing memories interfering with daily functioning?

Are you carrying the weight of abuse, divorce, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, or compulsive patterns?
Would you like to redirect your path toward the future you desire?

It is a privilege to embark collaboratively on a liberating journey — to help you discover more of the life you were meant to live. You may find that my warmth, acceptance, and comfortable surroundings will put you at ease.
